
Spaceballs (1987) is Mel Brooks’ take on the sci-fi genre, perfectly melding the respect for the original work required of good satire but still poking good fun at the source material.
It turns out, when you pilot a ship at ludicrous speed, its warp trail leaves a nice plaid color.
